Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Teambox (“Teambox”, “we”), the website teambox.app, and the platform at app.teambox.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the organisation you sign up on behalf of.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account, for keeping credentials secure, and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Teambox to:

Send spam, scams, phishing, or unsolicited commercial messages.
Violate the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy or any applicable telecom law.
Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person.
Transmit malware, attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or gain unauthorised access to other accounts.
Process special-category personal data (e.g. health, biometric) without proper legal basis.

You are solely responsible for the messages you send through Teambox and for obtaining the consent required to message your end-users under the laws applicable to them.

4. Customer data & integrations

When you connect a third-party service (e.g. WhatsApp Business API, Google Calendar), you authorise us to access, store, and process data from that service on your behalf strictly to operate the features you have enabled. You may disconnect any integration at any time. Our handling of this data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. AI features

Teambox includes AI features that generate responses, suggestions, and automations. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before it produces real-world effects (such as sending messages or creating calendar events) where this matters for your business.

6. Fees

Paid plans, if any, are billed as described at signup. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

7. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the service or other users. On termination, your access ends and your data is deleted within 30 days, unless we are legally required to keep it.

8. Intellectual property

Teambox, its software, branding, and content remain our property. You retain ownership of the data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the service.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Teambox harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a revised “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Teambox is established. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
